When your towing and recovery applications call for a little more, the L-Line is your truck. Sterling's vocational flagship, the L-Line boasts the kind of durability and performance you need for larger vehicle towing and recovery. Beyond its modern good looks, the Sterling L-Line offers the option of three different engine manufacturers and several suspension choices to make sure you get the job done. Body builders love the L-Line for its clean frame rails and convenient design, while drivers and passengers love its outstanding roominess and comfort.
101-inch - offering a short overall length and a set-forward front axle to help stretch the wheelbase where bridge laws govern permissible loads.
111-inch - featuring a front axle just 29 inches from the bumper and the longest wheelbase available in the L-Line for any given body length. Helps maximize bridge formula loading. Puts more engine ahead of the cowl for convenient serviceability.
113-inch - featuring a front axle set back 49 inches, for a shorter wheelbase that improves maneuverability and increases payload capacity by transferring a greater share of the body or kingpin load forward.
122-inch - the L-Line long conventional, for maximum engine access under the hood and maximum leg room inside the cab (little to no doghouse intrusion). The set-back front axle helps improve maneuverability and forward weight distribution.
