The new Set-Forward L-Line is the ideal configuration for mixer applications that need to meet Bridge Law requirements.
A longer wheel base translates into better weight distribution, increased under-cab room to accommodate EPA'07 exhaust filters, fuel tanks, battery boxers, outriggers and underbody scrapers.
The new DCPD (Meton) hood is stronger, lighter, and more flexible, providing valuable weight savings.
The aerodynamically sloped hood also provides better forward visibility: 20.3' on the 101" BBC and 22.3' on the 111" BBC -- a 12% improvement.

 101-inch - offering a short overall length and a set-forward front axle to help stretch the wheelbase where bridge laws govern permissible loads. |
 111-inch - featuring a front axle just 29 inches from the bumper and the longest wheelbase available in the L-Line for any given body length. Helps maximize bridge formula loading. Puts more engine ahead of the cowl for convenient serviceability. |
