Overview

TB Specialty Tractors

Big Power and Big Value for Specialty Operations

New Holland TB Series Specialty tractors give you reliable performance at an economical price, plus something you won't find on other value-priced tractors-genuine comfort and easy operation. The TB Low-Profile and High-Clearance models offer the same rugged reliability as New Holland TB All-Purpose tractors with added features that make them ideal for specialty applications.

The Heavy-duty TB110 (90 PTO hp) and TB120 Low-Profile (96 PTO hp) Models deliver the power you need to run shredders and mowers and pull heavy loads such as large sprayers, harvesters and carts with ease. Their streamlined design and specialty features make them ideal for orchards and anywhere low clearance is needed.

  • The height to the top of the steering wheel is 72.5 inches.
  • The shift levers have been moved to the top of the transmission housing in the middle of the operator’s platform where they are protected and won’t get snagged on branches.
  • The wide coverage fenders are adjustable for different tire sizes and help protect fruit and tree branches from tire damage.
  • The height of the ROPS is approximately six inches lower than TB All-Purpose tractors.
  • Choice of two- or four-wheel drive.

The TB120 High-Clearance Tractor was designed with vegetable farmers in mind. This model puts 96 PTO hp into rows of tall vegetables or specialty crops without concern for crop damage. Standard features include:

  • Increased ground clearance of 29.5 inches at the front axle with 12.4R 46 tires (13.6R 38 tires are also available)
  • A front axle that adjusts from 72 to 88 inches to accommodate a wide variety of crops and farming practices
  • Four-wheel drive (FWD)

Large Displacement Engines deliver smooth, fuel-efficient power.

Three Reliable Transmission choices are available to match your needs:

  • Standard 8 x 2 constant-mesh
  • Optional 16 x 4 Dual Command™ transmission includes an on-the-go powershift
  • Optional 12 x 3 creeper transmission for slow-speed applications

Quick-response Hydraulics are the result of a high-capacity system with independent implement and steering pumps. Three-point hitch lift capacity is impressive, ranging from 3,600 to 7,200 pounds depending on the option selected.

Operator Station features a roomy semi-straddle platform with a no-slip floor mat. There’s plenty of foot room and lots of comfort.

FWD Axle (standard on the high-clearance model, optional on the low-profile models) saves time and fuel by reducing wheel slippage. Because tires slip less, actual drawbar horsepower is increased by up to 25%.

  • On-the-go engagement is simple with a one-touch rocker switch.
  • Double reduction axle shafts and large diameter bearings are used for increased strength.
  • The steering cylinders are tucked behind the axle where they are protected.

A Heavy-duty 2WD Front Axle is available on the low-profile TB110 or TB120. It’s durable, stable and maneuverable, allowing for sharp turns in tight spots.

  • Track width adjustment is easy. Just remove six locking bolts.
  • Components are fully protected behind the main beam to reduce the chance of damage.
  • A 5,401-pound unrestricted front axle capacity for maximum load carrying ability.

Servicing couldn’t be easier, with a flip-up hood and daily service checkpoints that are simple to access.

Add the 46LB Loader to make short work of loading, hauling and material handling chores.

Wet Disc Brakes are powerful and durable for stops under heavy loads.

Mechanical Differential Lock is foot-pedal operated.

Fixed support, Swinging Drawbar is strong and easy to use.

Key Features
Engine
TB Specialty Tractors are powered by large-displacement New Holland engines that deliver proven, fuel-efficient, performance. These engines are Tier II emissions compliant and approved for use with B20 biodiesel (meeting ASTM 6751 standards) or standard diesel fuels.

The TB110 Low-Profile features four cylinders, 304 cu. in. displacement and is turbocharged.

The TB120 Low-Profile and TB120 High-Clearance feature six cylinders, 456 cu. in. displacement and is naturally aspirated.

A High Torque Rise of 34 to 40% powers you through tough conditions.

"Cross-flow" Cylinder Heads and Large-diameter Valves ensure complete fuel combustion and better fuel efficiency.

Parent-bore, Dry-sleeve Design ensures durability and extended life since there are no joints at the tops and bottoms of wet sleeves to leak and no O-rings to break down.

Fuel System is equipped with two filters and one fuel water trap with electric sensor/warning feature that protects the system components from water pollution damage.

Transmission
TB Specialty tractors are available with three transmissions. Choose the one with the speeds that match the work you do.

The 8F x 2R Constant Mesh Transmission is known for its reliability and provides a selection of ground speeds that is suitable for a wide variety of tasks.

  • Long-lasting 14-inch cerametallic disc increases clutch life and efficiently dissipates heat.
  • Helical cut gears ensure efficient, quiet transfer of power.

Upgrade to the 16F x 4R Dual Command™ Transmission, and at the push of a button you get an underdrive for each of the forward and reverse gears for added torque and pulling power when you need it. No clutching required.

The Dealer-installed 12F x 3R Creeper Transmission adds a creeper range to the 8 x 2 transmission so you have four forward creeper gears and an additional reverse gear for slow-speed applications and specialized chores.

Hydraulics & Hitch
TB Specialty tractors feature independent steering and implement pumps that eliminate the need for the steering system to pull hydraulic flow from the hitch and remote circuit. You’ll also appreciate the TB tractor’s three-point hitch capacity and draft controls, that let you set the proper depth and pull requirements before you begin working.

The Dedicated Steering Pump supplies 9.2 gpm of flow for the hydrostatic steering system.

The Standard Implement Pump provides 9.3 gpm of hydraulic flow for the rear remotes, three-point hitch and loader.

An Optional Auxiliary Pump provides an additional 8.5 gpm for a total of 17.8 gpm of flow at the rear remotes.

Up to Four Rear Remote Valves are available. Two deluxe remotes are standard and include flow controls and adjustable detents. The third and fourth rear remote valves are optional (requires auxiliary pump) and can be factory installed or added at the dealership.

Color-coding of the Hydraulic Coupler Dust Covers and Control Levers assist in implement hook up.

An Outstanding 3,600-pound Three-point Hitch Capacity is standard (ASAE @ 24 inches).

Add Optional External Cylinders to increase the capacity to 5,400 lbs. (w/ one cylinder) and 7,200 lbs. (w/ two cylinders).

Two Independent Levers are used to operate the three-point hitch. The system provides accurate operation in Position and Draft:

  • Position Control ensures accurate positioning of above-ground implements such as sprayers or for safe road transportation. The system maintains a set height of the lift linkage, regardless of implement weight or ground condition.
  • Draft Control is used when operating soil-engaging implements when a constant draft force is required. Draft sensing is done at the top link, providing precise draft control when needed.

Standard Telescoping Stabilizers prevent mounted implements from swinging side to side.

Operation Station

The spacious semi-straddle platform features an open, comfortable design to reduce operator fatigue and improve on-the-job productivity.

Suspended Brake and Clutch Pedals give you an uncluttered path to the seat and plenty of legroom.

Anti-slip Steps and Large Grab Handles make it easy to enter the platform from either side of the tractor. Step height can be adjusted to suit the operator.

An Analog Instrument Cluster monitors 15 critical functions to keep you informed.

Convenient Transmission and Hydraulic Controls are located for comfortable operation. The Low-Profile tractor transmission controls are located in the center of the transmission housing where they won’t get snagged by tree braches. On the High-Clearance model, transmission controls are located to your right.

PTO is Engaged by a single handle located to your left.

A Flip of a Switch Activates FWD in models so equipped for better traction in slippery conditions.

ROPS Structure folds down for clearance in low areas. Height is reduced by 18 inches to allow easy maneuvering under obstructions or in low-clearance buildings. Assist handle makes raising and lowering the ROPS simple. (Note: Operator should keep the ROPS in the vertical position when operating the tractor. Under safe conditions, the ROPS can be folded. The operator should not fasten the seat belt while the ROPS is folded down.)

More Features:

  • The padded, comfort-contoured seat adjusts for your comfort.
  • Steering column features four-position tilt.
  • A standard rubber floor mat reduces noise and vibration.
  • A seven-pin outlet supplies power for trailer and implement lighting. A single-pin accessory power outlet (8 amp) is standard.
  • Large tail lights and brake lights add to your safety by making the tractor more visible.
  • Standard rear work light makes is easier to keep your eye on the job after dark.
