New Holland TB All-Purpose Tractors

Overview
Reliability and value never felt so good
New Holland TB All-Purpose tractors give you reliable performance at an economical price, plus something you won't find on other value-priced tractors—genuine comfort and easy operation.

Large Displacement Engines deliver smooth, fuel-efficient power.
Three Reliable Transmission Choices are available to match your needs:

  • Standard 8 x 2 constant-mesh
  • Optional 16 x 4 Dual Command™
  • Optional 12 x 3 with creeper gear

Quick-response Hydraulics are the result of a high-capacity system with independent implement and steering pumps. TB tractor three-point hitch lift capacity is impressive, ranging from 3,600 to 7,200 pounds depending on the option selected.

The Operator Station features a roomy step deck with a no-slip floor mat. There’s plenty of foot room and lots of comfort.

The Heavy-duty 2WD Front Axle is durable, stable and maneuverable, allowing for sharp turns in tight spots.

  • Track width adjustment is easy—just remove six locking bolts.
  • Components are fully protected behind the main beam to reduce the chance of damage.
  • Unrestricted front axle capacity is 5,401 pounds for maximum load carrying capability.

Optional FWD Axle increases traction, increasing drawbar horsepower by up to 25%.

  • On-the-go engagement is simple with a one-touch rocker switch.
  • Double reduction axle shafts and large diameter bearings are used for increased strength.
  • The steering cylinders are tucked behind the axle where they are protected.

TB Tractor Servicing couldn’t be more simple, with a flip-up hood and easy-to-access daily service checkpoints.

The 46LB Loader, made exclusively for the TB tractor, makes short work of loading, hauling and material handling chores.

Wet Disc Brakes are powerful and durable for stops under heavy loads.
Mechanical Differential Lock is foot-pedal operated.
Fixed Support, Swinging Drawbar is strong and easy to use.

Key Features
Engine
TB tractors are powered by New Holland engines that deliver powerful, yet fuel-efficient, performance. These engines are approved for use with B20 biodiesel (meeting ASTM 6751 standards) or standard diesel fuels.

TB100 and TB110 Engines

  • 4 cylinders
  • 304 cu. in.
  • Turbocharged

TB120 Engine

  • 6 cylinders
  • 456 cu. in.
  • Natural aspiration

A High Torque Rise of 34 to 40% powers you through tough conditions.

"Cross-flow" Cylinder Heads and Large-diameter Valves ensure complete fuel combustion and better fuel efficiency.

Parent Bore Design means working life is long and durable. There are no joints at the tops and bottoms of wet sleeves to leak, and no O-rings to break down.

Fuel system is equipped with two filters and one fuel water trap with electric sensor/warning system that protects the system components from water pollution damage.

Transmission
Choose the TB transmission that matches the work you do. All three allow you to easily match ground speed to the job at hand.

The 8 x 2 Constant Mesh Transmission is known for its reliability and provides a selection of ground speeds that is suitable for a wide variety of tasks.

  • Long-lasting 14-inch cerametallic disc increases clutch life and efficiently dissipates heat.
  • Helical cut gears ensure efficient, quiet transfer of power.

The Optional 12 x 3 Creeper Transmission adds one reverse speed and four forward creeper speeds to the standard eight for specialized chores that require slow movement.

Upgrade to the 16 x 4 Dual Command™ transmission and at the push of a button you get an underdrive for each of the forward and reverse gears for added torque and pulling power when you need it. No clutching required.

Hydraulics & Hitch
TB tractors offer excellent hydraulic capacity. Independent steering and implement pumps eliminate the need for the steering system to pull hydraulic flow from the hitch and remote circuit. You’ll also appreciate the TB tractor’s three-point hitch capacity and draft controls, that let you set the proper depth and pull requirements before you begin working.

The Dedicated Steering Pump supplies 9.2 gpm of flow for the hydrostatic steering system.

The Standard Implement Pump provides 9.3 gpm of hydraulic flow for the rear remotes, three-point hitch and loader.

An Optional Auxiliary Pump provides an additional 8.5 gpm for a total of 17.8 gpm of flow at the rear remotes.

Up to Four Rear Remote Valves are available. Two deluxe remotes are standard and include flow controls and adjustable detents. The third and fourth rear remote valves are optional (requires auxiliary pump) and can be factory or dealer installed.

Color-coding of the Hydraulic Coupler Dust Covers and control levers assist in implement hook up.

An Outstanding 3,600-pound Three-point Hitch Capacity is standard for TB Series tractors (ASAE @ 24 inches).

Add Optional External Cylinders to increase the capacity to 5,400 lbs. (w/ one cylinder) and 7,200 lbs. (w/ two cylinders).

Two Independent Levers are used to operate the three-point hitch. The system provides accurate operation in Position and Draft:

  • Position control ensures accurate positioning of above-ground implements such as sprayers or for safe road transportation. The system maintains a set height of the lift linkage, regardless of implement weight or ground condition.
  • Draft control is used when operating soil-engaging implements when a constant draft force is required. Draft sensing is done at the top link, providing precise draft control when needed.

Rigid Link Ends and Telescoping Stabilizers are standard, making implement hookup quick and easy. Telescoping link ends are optional.

Operator Station

The wide-open TB tractor platform is designed to improve operator comfort and reduce fatigue.

Suspended Brake and Clutch Pedals give you an uncluttered path to the seat and plenty of legroom.

Anti-slip Steps make entry and exit from both sides of the tractor safer. Step height can be adjusted to suit the operator.

The Padded, Contoured Seat adjusts for your comfort.

Steering Column features four-position tilt for even more comfort.

Transmission and Hydraulic Controls are located on the right-hand side where they are easy to reach and use.

PTO is engaged by a single handle located to your left. FWD is activated with the flip of a switch (in models equipped w/ FWD).

An Analog Instrument Cluster monitors 15 critical functions to keep you informed.

ROPS Structure Folds Down for Clearance in Low Areas. Height is reduced by 18 inches to allow for easy maneuvering under obstructions or in low-clearance buildings. Assist handle makes raising and lowering the ROPS simple.

(Note: Operator should keep the ROPS in the vertical position when operating the tractor. Under safe conditions, the ROPS can be folded. The operator should not fasten the seat belt while the rollbar is folded down.)

A Seven-pin Outlet supplies power for trailer and implement lighting. A single-pin accessory power outlet (8 amp) is standard.

Large Tail Lights and Brake Lights add to your safety by making the tractor more visible in low light conditions.

Standard Rear Work Light and Optional Front and Rear Work Lights on the ROPS make it easier to keep your eye on the job after dark.

Deluxe Full-coverage Fenders are standard.

Service
Hardworking TB tractors are simple to maintain with easy-to-reach service points.

One-piece, Flip-up Engine Hood with Gas Strut opens easily for unrestricted engine compartment access.

Engine Oil Level can be checked and topped off if necessary without raising the hood. Hydraulic oil level is easily checked from the rear of the tractor.

Transmission Oil Fill/Check is conveniently located so service can be completed from a single point at the rear of the tractor.

Air Filter and Other Components are located under the flip-up hood for quick access.

Battery is conveniently located under the floor on the right-hand side of the platform.

A Toolbox with a Removable Tool Tray is contained in the battery box compartment.

Dual 3/16 Inch-thick Steel Fuel Tanks have a total capacity of thirty-seven gallons. The tanks have a single fill point on the left side and can be filled from the ground. A large opening on the fuel tank minimizes spillage, and a locking fuel cap is standard.
