TNV-A Vineyard Tractors
Extremely narrow and extremely productive
With a minimum width between 42.5 and 48.5 inches, TNV-A tractors are ultra-narrow to fit perfectly between vineyard rows. Yet, these tractors handle demanding applications with ample horsepower and hydraulic flow.
|
 |
|
The streamlined design of TNV-A tractors makes them the perfect package for vineyards and orchards. Horizontal exhaust, engine side shields, smooth grab rails and fender extensions prevent damage to fruit and vines. Recessed work lights and door handles on cab-equipped models allow you to drive through overhanging vegetation and branches without damage.
How narrow? New Holland tire offerings permit a minimum overall tractor width from 42.5 to 48.5 inches depending on the tire package you choose. Rim diameters of 20, 24 and 28 inches are available for both 2WD and FWD models.
A low center of gravity aids stability on hillside vineyards and slopes.
Convenient, fold-down rollbar permits a height of 58.7 inches so you can easily maneuver under low-hanging vines and overhangs.
(Note: Operator should keep the rollbar in the vertical position when operating the tractor. Under safe conditions, the rollbar can be folded forward. The operator should not fasten the seat belt while the rollbar is folded down.)
Durable, three-cylinder engines deliver 45 or 62 PTO hp for the power you need to handle the long days and demanding applications of working in vineyards and orchards.
16 x 16 Synchro Command™ transmission gives you more speed options to perfectly match the job at hand.
Best-in-class hydraulic power helps you work more effectively and more efficiently.
|
The TNV-A operator station provides exceptional comfort and visibility. Select the foldable mid-mount rollbar, or choose the all-weather cab with air conditioning, heater, two doors and deluxe air filtration.

Servicing is quick and effortless. The hood pivots to the rear and provides easy access to routine maintenance points.
Standard electro-hydraulic diff lock gives you maximum pulling power. On FWD models, the rear diff lock is linked to the front axle, locking all four tires to ensure maximum traction.
Exclusive, patented Traction Management System (FWD models) gives you more control. When operating in the automatic mode, the system automatically engages FWD the instant you need it, and disengages it just as quickly when you don't. It provides optimum traction in mud, loose soil or hilly conditions, reduced fuel consumption and longer tire life. While traveling downhill, the Traction Management System automatically engages FWD when it senses a negative slip in the rear wheels and gives you added control of the tractor and its load.
Up to eight degrees of axle oscillation in each direction allow TNV-A tractors to travel smoothly over rough terrain or on slopes.
Four tire packages are available to fit your requirements:

Engine
The three-cylinder TNV-A engine is designed to work for you day in and day out. TNV-A tractors have the power and fast response that let you handle your toughest jobs with ease. And, they go easy on the environment with lower emissions.
|
|
A heavy-duty, cast iron engine block and a dry-sleeve design provide longer service life than competitive wet sleeve engines, without the risk of coolant contamination.
Up to 37% torque rise means you have surprising lugging power to handle your most demanding conditions.
The low 2300-rpm rated engine speed reduces noise, vibration and extends engine life.
|
A cross-flow cylinder head design pulls air in from the right side of the cylinder head and expels it on the left side. Intake air remains cool and dense, resulting in superior combustion and maximum power production.
|
 |
|
A premium Bosch rotary fuel-injection pump and five-hole injectors provide precise fuel metering and delivery into all cylinders for outstanding performance and fuel economy.
Specially designed spiral intake port causes air to swirl as it enters the combustion chamber. This combines with the alloy piston's combustion bowl to provide the best possible fuel/air mixing, for complete combustion and maximum fuel economy.
15-gallon fuel tank is protected against damage by the grill/guard at the front of the tractor.
Battery is located at the rear of the tractor where it's protected from heat and possible damage from branches.
|
|
Transmission
The convenient 16 x 16 Synchro Command™ transmission gives you more flexibility and control than competitive models, providing four more speeds in forward and reverse than you'll find on other tractors.
|
|
In-line, dedicated, left-hand mechanical shuttle lever provides fast forward-reverse shuttling and keeps your right hand free to operate the implement controls.
Eight speeds from two to eight mph are available with any tire package.
Lowest gear speed (0.4 mph) is perfect for ultra-slow applications, without the need for a special creeper transmission.
Range and speed gear levers located on the right-hand console provide low-effort control of the four speed gears and four ranges.
Synchronized, helical-cut gears provide smooth, precise, on-the-go shifting and quiet operation.
|
|
Hydraulics
The hydraulic system on TNV-A tractors is rugged, reliable and fast. The system uses two hydraulic gear pumps to operate two separate open-center hydraulic circuits. One pump supplies the remotes and three-point hitch. The second pump supplies flow for the tractor, including a dedicated flow to steering and FWD.
|
|
High-volume main hydraulic pump delivers a dedicated flow of 12.4 gpm to lift and remote valve circuits for all TN65VA models and 2WD TN75VA models. A 16.9 gpm pump with an oil cooler is provided on FWD TN75VA models to handle the most demanding implements.
Independent, dedicated steering pump delivers 6.5 gpm to ensure precise steering without taking oil flow from other hydraulic functions while maneuvering.
Two open-center remote valves are standard equipment—more than you'll find on other brands. A third remote is optional.
Adjustable flow control is provided on the TN75VA and optional on the TN65VA if factory equipped with three remote valves.
Color-coded remote levers correspond to the appropriate valve and provide for easy identification when connecting to equipment and remote hydraulic cylinders
Category II three-point hitch provides up to 3,962 pounds of lift capacity to handle the largest implements. For added versatility, the three-point hitch is convertible to Category I or I-N for added versatility. Adjustable stabilizer blocks control width limits.
Exclusive quick-lift switch allows you to lift or lower three-point-mounted implements with the touch of a finger.
Lower-link draft sensing maintains your implement working depth automatically and provides greater accuracy and sensitivity compared to some competitive systems, which use a top link draft sensing system. A flex shaft between the lower links measures changes in draft load and sends a signal to the control valve, automatically adjusting the implement working depth.
Adjustable right-hand vertical lift rod helps with implement hitching and leveling.
Swing drawbar with clevis is standard equipment.

Operator Station
TNV-A tractors are available with a open-design operator platform, or a quiet, all-weather cab. Both are designed for your comfort and productivity. Step aboard and you'll feel the difference!
|
|
Isolation mounting on both cab and less-cab models provides you with a smooth ride with less vibration.
Suspended foot pedals keep your path to the seat open.
Transmission, remote valve levers and PTO controls are placed in natural positions for your hand.
Telescopic adjustable steering column adjusts for your comfort and can reduce the overall height of non-cab tractors when operating under low branches or crop frames.
The electronic instrument cluster (EIC) provides digital readouts of PTO speed and ground speed—important for accurate spraying and dusting operations. An indicator light panel monitors 19 operating functions.
Excellent forward visibility results from the compact front instrument console and the narrow sloping hood. You can easily drive in rows, view front-mounted implements or see up to overhanging tree limbs.
The all-weather cab provides the added comfort of standard heater and air conditioning. A deluxe air filtration package features anti-pollen filters for external and re-circulated air, and a high-capacity cab pressurization motor.
Two wide doors on cab models allow you to enter and exit the cab from either side. The frameless glass doors and large curved side glass increase all-around visibility.
Optional air suspension seat (cab models) offers added support and allows you to adjust seat height and suspension at the push of a button.
Twin air filters are located on both sides of the cab roof, away from the dust created by the rear wheels.
Front and rear windows can be fully opened for maximum ventilation. They are supported by gas struts. The lower rear window can be adjusted to provide a convenient entry port for implement control box cables.
Four high-output, roof-mounted worklamps—two in front and two in back—provide superior illumination for working at night. Lights are recessed in the cab roof to protect branches and foliage.
|

Service
Routine maintenance of TNV-A tractors is simple and lets you get back on the job fast. Gaining access to the engine is a one-person job. The hood pivots to the rear to provide easy access to routine maintenance points.
|
|
Dual element, dry air cleaner is located inside the front grill.
The 15.1-gallon fuel tank is easily accessed at the front of the tractor, where it's protected against damage by the front grill/guard.
A single high-capacity, low-maintenance battery is located to the rear of the tractor where it is protected from heat and possible damage from branches. On cab tractors, the battery can be accessed by removing the lower rear window.
A single hydraulic filter provides good filtration and has a service change period of 300 hours.
Twin cab air filters are held in place by thumbscrews on either side of the cab roof. They can be removed easily for cleaning from the outside of the cab without tools.
