Work smarter
Put a New Holland TM tractor to work for you and you'll make the most of every day. These new 95 to 160 PTO hp tractors are loaded with "smart" programmable features that make your job easier and help you work more efficiently than ever before.
Find out how TM tractors can help you work smarter. Then visit your New Holland dealer - - the tractor specialist.
Smart engines increase horsepower as the engine is lugged down during PTO applications (TM175 and TM190).
Smart transmissions make your job easier with automatic shifting and programmable forward/reverse shuttle.
Smart hydraulics allow you to adjust the timing and flow to each of the remotes (TM175 and TM190).
Smart Custom Headland System memorizes your actions at the end of the row and repeats them with the push of a button (TM175 and TM190). The system works like your VCR. It "records" your activities at the end of the row and "replays" them every time you need to. So, when you press the "play" button, the Headland Management System will automatically throttle back, change gears and raise your implement. You also "record" and "play" your actions as you re - enter the row. This is a feature that not only saves time and effort by taking the annoying repetition out of your day, it gives your less experienced drivers the same efficiency as your best ones.
Choose from four front axles'2WD, Standard FWD, SuperSteer FWD axle with a 65 - degree turn angle or the Terraglide suspended FWD axle suspension.
Roomy, two - door cab provides the ultimate in comfort and convenience, including the shock - absorbing Comfort Ride cab suspension option (standard on TM175 and TM190) for the smoothest ride ever.
Convenient service access and long service intervals
reduce maintenance time and the cost of owning a TM tractor. Routine checks can be completed without opening the hood, and there are no doors or panels to remove. The TM tractor was also designed for easy trouble - shooting and repair. For example, all hydraulic pumps are external so they're easy to reach if needed. And, the PTO clutch can be serviced without splitting the tractor.
Ultra - productive 62LB and 72LB loaders offer superior breakout force and lift capacity to move big loads fast.

Smart engines handle increased loads
You'll tackle jobs with greater efficiency and confidence thanks to the higher horsepower, outstanding torque rise and new electronic engine management (TM175 and TM190 only) of TM tractor engines. The engines on all TM models are Turbo charged and Air-to-air intercooled for the best combination of power and fuel efficiency.
State - of - the - art 7.5 liter, six - cylinder New Holland engines deliver up to 40% torque rise to respond to tough conditions.
Electronic engine management (TM175 and TM190 only) maintains maximum power to the PTO and to the ground to get you through tough conditions - - like when you're chopping in heavy crop and the wagon starts to fill, or when you need to get through heavy windrows when baling. TM engines actually grow horsepower in response to demanding conditions - - up to 35 hp for non - static PTO applications.
Fuel efficiency is designed into TM engines:
-
Rotary - designed injection pumps deliver fuel precisely to match engine air flow. Throttle response is fast and fuel burns smoothly and cleanly at any speed.
-
A high compression ratio results in maximum fuel economy, quick start ups and quiet operation.
-
Cross - flow cylinder heads increase airflow through the engine for gains in efficiency.
-
Specially designed compressor blades on Turbo charged models optimize efficiency and performance.

Smart transmissions offer programmable shifting and shuttling
You'll enjoy smooth shifting and exceptional speed flexibility with TM transmissions. All TM tractors provide a standard, clutchless, electrohydraulic shuttle for effortless forward - to - reverse shifts to save time when loading or feeding. Some competitive - brand tractors force you to navigate through shift gates when shuttling.
Another plus - - the TM shuttle lever is on the left, to free your right hand to operate the loader or implement. Choose the TM transmission that offers the level of convenience and automatic shifting that matches your operation.
18x6 Power Command full powershift (Standard on the TM175 and TM190, available on all other models)
-
Patented torque - sensing system allows the TM Power Command full powershift transmission to shift as conveniently as a car's automatic transmission. The sequence of gears is seamless, with all speeds available under full load.
-
Manual mode lets you use the "fast" and "slow" buttons on the main control lever to move through the gears under full load with the touch of your thumb.
-
Auto Field mode takes the guesswork out of your day by shifting automatically based on engine load, engine speed and ground speed. New Holland calls it "adaptive shifting." You'll call it smooth and easy. Power Command constantly monitors engine speed and driveline torque and shifts automatically up or down two speeds from the gear you select. If you require more than two speeds, you can easily extend the range to up to 11 gears by using the up or down buttons.
-
Auto Transport mode lets you simply press a button and Power Command shifts sequentially through the top seven gears, adjusting to engine torque and throttle position.
-
25 mph transport speed on FWD models lets you get from one place to another quickly. Transport speed on 2WD models is 18.5 mph.
-
Standard power shuttle provides fast, clutch - free direction changes with the touch of a lever - - no clutch required.
-
Powershift creeper option provides the convenience of a powershift with the slow speeds that are ideal for blowing snow and working in specialty crops. This is a feature you won't find on most competitive - brand tractors.
-
A host of programmable features makes repetitive work like grading and loading an exercise in smoothness and speed.
18x6 Range Command semi - powershift (Standard on the TM120, TM130, TM140 and TM155)
-
Six consecutive powershift gears in three ranges give you plenty of speed flexibility without clutching. Simply press the "fast" or "slow" buttons on the main control lever to powershift up or down the gears.
-
Nine speeds in the critical two - through - seven mph working range allow you to match ground speed to crop or application.
-
Shifting between ranges is minimized thanks to plenty of gear overlap and well - spaced ground speeds.
-
Range Command display makes it easy to see the range and speed that's engaged. An audible beep and flashing LED reminds you when a range change is required.
-
Clutchless, electrohydraulic shuttle control makes it easy to shift between forward and reverse.
-
Many programmable features makes your life easier. Take a look:
-
Pulse Shift lets you move up or down one smooth gear at a time by pressing the "fast" or "slow" button.
-
Sequential Shift makes it easy to move sequentially through the gears by holding down the "fast" or "slow" button.
-
Speed Matching lets you automatically downshift as ground speed slows.
-
Gear Pre - Select lets you select the forward or reverse gear you want to start in while the shuttle lever is in neutral. Then move the lever forward or reverse for a smooth, modulated start without using the clutch.
-
Programmable Reverse lets you program the reverse speed to be zero to three gears faster or slower than your forward speed to match your shuttling job.
-
Automatic Upshift lets you automatically match gear speed to engine and road speeds each time the clutch is engaged.
24x12 Dual Command (Available on the TM120 and TM130.)
-
Plenty of gear overlap and close gear ratios let you match the right speed to your work and minimize shifting between ranges.
-
Shift through two gears on - the - go under full load with the Dual Command button on the main shift lever. It provides a 16% decrease in speed and a corresponding increase in torque to pull you through tough field conditions without manual shifting. When conditions improve, simply tap the pulse button to return to your previously selected gear.

Smart hydraulics deliver power on demand
Even with multi - function implements, the high - capacity, closed - center, load - sensing system on TM tractors provides instant response. TM tractors use two hydraulic pumps for an impressive, industry - leading 44 gpm (48 gpm for TM175 and TM190) total hydraulic system flow. Competitive tractors rely on one pump.
During rapid steering, like during headland turns or loading in tight quarters, the flow rate at the remotes on competitive tractors drops dramatically, decreasing your productivity.
An advanced pump delivers up to a maximum 28 gpm oil flow on demand (31 gpm on the TM175 and TM190). On - demand flow helps to reduce power loss and hydraulic oil temperatures for optimum operating efficiency. When hydraulics are idle, the pump runs at low - pressure standby for even greater efficiency.
Separate steering pump supplies 16.4 gpm (17.2 gpm on TM175 and TM190) to the steering system, PTO, diff lock, FWD axle, transmission clutches and lubrication circuit.
Choose up to seven factory - installed advanced remote valves - - four rear and three mid - mount.
Rear remotes feature fully adjustable flow control and a check valve to prevent load drops.
Exclusive proportional control on the third and fourth mid - mount valves allows you to vary the flow rate to these functions.
Optional fully programmable electrohydraulic valves (TM175 and TM190) allow you to adjust the timing and flow as needed for each operation.
Standard "power beyond slice" feature allows for the attachment of a separate feed, return and sensing line so you can use the valve controls provided on high - demand implements, simplifying hookup.
"Soft - start" electrohydraulic 540/1000 rpm PTO is designed to minimize stress on the implement's multi - plate slip clutch to provide smooth start - up even with high - torque equipment and high - inertia loads. At engine speeds above 1800 rpm, the soft - start PTO reverts to conventional PTO engagement.
PTO overspeed alarm ensures that implements are running at optimum capacity.
Best - in - class 17,085 - pound (7750 - kg) three - point lift capacity allows the TM175 and TM190 to handle heavy three - point implements like, no - till planters and rollover plows with ease.
Rocker switches on the rear fenders allow you to raise and lower the three - point hitch for easy implement attachment and adjustment.
Dynamic Ride Control is standard equipment to help prevent three - point mounted implements from bouncing on the rear linkage during transport. You enjoy greater steering control, added safety and a smooth, comfortable ride at speeds above 5 mph.
Electrolink electronic draft control allows you to dial in the blend of position and draft you need for automatic linkage control. Using the Electrolink pod on the right - hand console, you control the drop rate, height limit, position/draft sensitivity and slip limit. Draft sensitivity isn't even available on some competitive tractors. On the TM, it's standard equipment.

Four front axle choices
TM tractors provide the traction and steering choices to match your operation. Equip your TM tractor with one of four front axles - - 2WD, standard FWD, the popular SuperSteer FWD axle or the self - leveling Terraglide suspended FWD axle. No matter which axle you choose, you'll turn sharper with a TM tractor than you can with a competitive - brand tractor.
The innovative SuperSteer FWD axle provides an unmatched 65 - degree maximum turn angle, allowing you to make turns that are 30% sharper and faster. With 14.9 R28 tires at a 60" setting, the SuperSteer FWD axle turns a 22 - ft. - diameter circle without brakes - - the tightest in this tractor class. You'll make faster headland turns, work more productively in small fields and get in and out of tight yards easily.
SuperSteer - equipped TM tractors weigh more and have a longer wheelbase for a smoother ride and added traction and stability.
Here's how SuperSteer works:
The SuperSteer axle is attached to the tractor with a simple, heavy - duty ball - and - socket joint. As the tractor turns, the whole axle pivots. The inside tire moves away from the tractor. At the same time, the outside wheel moves forward, in front of the nose of the tractor. This movement provides more tire clearance, a greater turning angle and reduces turnaround diameter. Front ballast weights are mounted directly onto the SuperSteer axle so they move along with the wheels and never interfere with wheel turning.
The Terraglide suspended front axle puts you in control with unmatched stability, traction and comfort. With 4.1 inches of travel, the Terraglide suspended axle works to keep front tires in contact with the ground on any terrain and at high speeds. It smoothes out rutted fields, hard - packed furrows and bumpy access roads. Unlike complicated competitive system, Terraglide is a simple, affordable design. The system automatically self - levels based on load and is automatically engaged at speeds over 7.5 mph to ensure operator comfort.
An override switch lets you lock out the Terraglide axle when desired without leaving the cab. You won't find this on competitive systems.
A fully automatic TerraLock electronic traction control system is standard on all FWD TM models. It automatically engages FWD and front and rear differential lock for full drive capability through all four wheels for more positive traction.
A semi - automatic TerraLock system is standard on 2WD models.
