Engine
TB Tractors are powered by New Holland engines that deliver
powerful, yet fuel-efficient, performance. The TB100 and the TB110
engines are turbocharged; the TB120 is naturally aspirated.
"Cross-flow" cylinder heads and large diameter valves ensure complete fuel combustion and better fuel efficiency.
Parent bore design means working life is long and
durable. There are no joints at the tops and bottoms of wet sleeves to
leak and no O-rings to break down.
Torque reserve of up to 40% keeps you working productively under load.
Fuel system is equipped with two filters and one fuel water trap with electric sensor/warning system that protects the system components from water pollution damage.

Transmission
The standard 8 x 2 constant mesh or optional 16 x 4 Dual
Command™ transmissions let you match ground speeds to the job at hand.
Optional 12 x 3 (8 x 2 with creeper) transmission is available for
specialized chores when slow movement is required.
8 x 2 constant-mesh transmission is built for all-around, efficient operation.
-
Eight forward and two reverse speeds allow engine and ground speeds to be closely matched to the work you’re doing.
-
Wide gears provide the strength to stand up to full power loads.
-
Transmission controls are conveniently positioned to the right where they are easy to reach.
-
Long-lasting 14-inch Cerametallic disc increases clutch life and efficiently dissipates heat.
-
Helical cut gears ensure efficient, quiet transfer of power.
Optional 16 x 4 Dual Command™ provides wide range of speeds to match the job.
-
Dual Command™ range shift features a two-speed power shift in each of the eight forward gears.
-
Switch to low range is made by simply pressing a button on the main shift lever grip.
-
Pulling power of the tractor is increased in the low range. When low range is selected, speed is reduced by 18% and torque is increased by 22%.

Front Axle
Standard heavy-duty 2WD or optional FWD front axles are designed for
maximum strength, high load-carrying capacity and easy adjustment of
wheel track width.
Standard 2WD front axle is maneuverable and durable.
-
Track width adjustment is easy—just remove six locking bolts.
- Excellent maneuverability and stability allow sharp turns in tight spots.
-
Components are fully protected behind the main beam to reduce chance of damage.
- 5,401-lb. unrestricted front axle capacity (2WD).
FWD axle option saves time and fuel.
-
Tight turning angle for easy maneuverability in close quarters.
-
FWD reduces wheel slippage to cut field time and conserve fuel. Because tires slip less, actual drawbar horsepower is increased by up to 25%.
-
It’s easy to engage and disengage FWD, when traction decreases due to slippery ground conditions. Just flip a switch.
-
Simple one-touch activation engages FWD
on-the go. Just push the top half of the rocker switch to disengage or
push the bottom half to engage. It couldn’t be easier!
- FWD is automatically engaged when both brake pedals are depressed, which means better stopping while in transport on highways.

Hydraulics
TB tractors offer excellent hydraulic capacity. Independent
steering and implement pumps eliminate the need for the steering system
to pull hydraulic flow from the hitch and remote circuit.
Independent hydraulic systems ensure maximum performance. The
steering pump feeds the hydrostatic steering system while the main gear
pump supplies the 3-point hitch and remotes.
Main hydraulic pump supplies 9.3 gpm to the remotes and 3-point hitch. Total flow of the main and optional auxiliary pump is 17.8 gpm to the remotes and 3-point hitch.
Multi-function, standard remote valves ensure maximum productivity and efficiency.
Up to four auxiliary remote valves (two standard, two
optional) can be fitted to the rear of the tractor. Remote valves can
be operated on open- or closed-center hydraulic equipment.
Flow control is standard on each remote valve.
Raise, lower and float detents are standard on each remote valve.

Hitch
For field or blade work, you’ll appreciate the TB tractor’s
three-point hitch capacity and draft controls, that let you set the
proper depth and pull requirements before you begin working.
Heavy-duty three-point linkage provides lift capacity of up to 4,200 lbs. to handle large implements.
Linkage features two positions for lift height to accommodate all implements and ground conditions.
Two independent levers are used to operate three-point hitch. The system provides accurate operation in Position and Draft:
-
Position Control ensures accurate positioning of
above-ground implements such as sprayers or for safe road
transportation. The system maintains a set height of the lift linkage,
regardless of implement weight or ground condition.
-
Draft Control is used when operating soil-engaging implements when a constant draft force is required.
Telescopic stabilizers on the hitch arms prevent the mounted implements from swinging side to side.
Fixed support, swinging drawbar is strong and easy to use.
PTO is engaged by a single handle located to the left of the operator. Engagement ensures excellent featherability.
Heavy duty, independent PTO wet-disc clutch pack is engaged hydraulically.
Easy hook-up of PTO driveline with a flip up/ flip down PTO shield.
Optional flex link ends make hookups easier.

Operator station
The TB tractor’s operating environment is ergonomically designed to improve operator comfort and reduce fatigue.
Operator platform features a roomier step deck with
a no-slip floor mat. There’s plenty of foot room and an uncluttered
entry and exit path. Anti-slip steps make entry and exit from both
sides of the tractor safer. Step height can be adjusted to suit the
operator. Control levers are conveniently located on the right-hand
side.
Padded, comfort-contoured seat is adjustable. Retractable seatbelt makes buckling up more convenient. Two-post ROPS structure ensures optimum visibility.
ROPS structure folds down for clearance in low
areas. Height is reduced by eighteen inches to allow easy maneuvering
under obstructions or in low-clearance buildings. Assist handle makes
raising and lowering the ROPS simple.
Steering column features four-position tilt for added comfort.
Large tail lights add to your safety by making the tractor more visible in low light conditions.
Exhaust stack is located to the left side of the hood so visibility is not impaired.
Deluxe full-coverage fenders are standard. Crown fenders are optional.
A seven-pin outlet supplies power for trailer and implement lighting. A single-pin accessory power outlet (8 amp) is standard.
