Now, our operating pattern selection pilot controls are located below the right control box. One simple switch of the lever allows easy adjustments to either the ISO pattern or the SAE pattern. And lever operation is possible without tools or even leaving your seat.

SUSPENSION SEAT

A hard working operator deserves a comfortable seat. The U35's ergonomically designed suspension seat comes standard with weight compensation and firm armrests. It helps reduce operator fatigue for optimum productivity.

NEW RUBBER TRACK DESIGN

Get a better grip on your work with our new and improved rubber tracks. They now feature larger V-shaped lugs for added traction, but still allow you to tread softly.

TWO-PIECE BOOM AND DOZER CYLINDER HOMES

Another cost-effective feature from Kubota. This unique two-piece design reduces boom or dozer cylinder hose replacement time by approximately 60%. Time is money -that's the bottom line.

STRONG BUCKET BREAKOUT AND TRACTION FORCE

Power and performance assured, the KX91-3 also provides an extra margin of safety. All canopies and cabs include OSHA certified ROPS/FOPS protection.

SAFETY LEVER LOCKS

When the safety lever is raised, the pilot controls and travel levers become disengaged. What's more, front attachments will not move, even if the control lever is accidentally touched.

LARGE OPERATOR SPACE

Just because it's a compact, doesn't mean it has to cramp your style. The U35's operator's area is spacious, comfortable, well thought out and comparable to standard machines.

DOUBLE-FLANGED LOWER-TRACK ROLLERS

When traveling, double flanged track rollers help reduce vibration, while improving balance and stability. They are especially advantageous when the machine is equipped with heavy attachments.

ROPS/FOPS CAB AND CANOPY MODELS

This roomy compact lets you work all day in comfort. It offers amore spacious and comfortable operator’s space than standard tail swing machines. Plus, the full-featured suspension seat is adjustable six ways and comes standard with arm rests, high seat back and adjustable height and spring firmness, to further reduce operator fatigue.

WIDE OPEN HOOD

Designed to provide the utmost convenience and serviceability, the wide-open hood enables easy access to the fan belt, vital fluids and air cleaner. The simple “one-touch-latch” located under the engine’s hood makes checks and necessary adjustments quick and easy.

E-TVCS ENGINE

The newly crafted E-TVCS diesel engine delivers improved fuel efficiency, greater output, higher torque rise, as well as lower noise and vibration levels. As an added bonus, the engine's cleaner emissions comply with strict Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations.

AUTOMATIC HOUSE PARKING BRAKE

Safe and secure. The U35's upper structure immediately locks into a compact position when the engine is turned off. This eliminates any possibility of the upper structure moving, even when the excavator is parked on a slope or during transport.

ANGLE TRACK FRAME AND X-FRAME

The new X-frame improves the U35's track frame rigidity in high-cycle and heavy-duty applications. Plus, the 30-angle of the upper track's frame helps keep dry dirt out of the tracks, while making the cleanup of wet dirt easier.
