Kubota U15 |
| |
| Features |
AUXILIARY HYDRAULICS
The auxiliary hydraulic system accommodates a variety of attachments, such as
breakers and augers. Standard equipment includes port pipes on the arm, bidirectional
auxiliary hydraulic controls, and control valve. Connections are located
within easy reach and incorporate short hoses that are less likely to become tangled
or damaged. |
 |
| |
FRONT PIN BUSHINGS
Pin bushings are installed at all of the pivot points along the swing bracket, boom,
arm, and bucket. Pin type bushings not only last longer, they are easier to replace
when necessary. |
 |
| |
PROTECTED BOOM CYLINDER
Located above the boom, the boom cylinder is safe from damage during breaker or
dumping operations. A new cylinder design features a larger diameter rod and
increased hydraulic pressure for greater lifting power and optimum front attachment
speeds. |
 |
| |
PROTECTED HOSES
For greater protection, the U15’s front hoses are routed within the arm. This design
also improves operator visibility, increases hose service life, and lowers repair costs. |
 |
| |
RETRACTABLE SEAT BELTS
Retractable seat belts are convenient and easy to use. You always know where to
find them. They are much more likely to be used, and they will not fall in the dirt. |
 |
| |
SMOOTH OPERATION
Smooth operation across a wide range of jobs is assured, thanks to the U15’s
advanced variable displacement pumps and Hydraulic Matching System. | |
| |
STRAIGHT TRAVEL
Kubota’s Hydraulic Matching System keeps the U15 traveling in a straight line while
operating the boom, ensuring safer loading and offloading.
|
 |
| |
TRAVEL SPEED SELECTOR
By placing the 2 speed
travel switch on the dozer lever, dozing operations have
become faster and easier. The new location also frees up space on the floor for
improved operator comfort.
|
 |
| |
WIDER FOOT SPACE
More spacious than many conventional tail swing excavators, the U15's wider foot
space enhances operator comfort. |
 |
| |
EASY MAINTENANCE
Daily maintenance is easy, thanks to side opening
covers that provide fast access to
all critical components. The reserve tank, air filter, fuel filter, water separator, and
engine oil gauge are all easily accessible behind the rear engine cover. An engine
inspection window behind the seat provides fast access to the engine filling port. The
side cover provides access to the battery and radiator. |
 |
| |
STRONG BUCKET FORCE
The U15 has the power you need for heavy loads and tough excavating jobs, a
breakout force of 3,417 lbs. |
 |
| |
|
STRONG LIFTING CAPACITY
A powerful and responsive front working group provides superior lifting capacity for
digging, lifting, and loading. Even when working to the side, using hydraulic
attachments, or lifting heavy objects, the U15 remains supremely stable, thanks to
its innovative counter balancing technology, long tumbler distance, low center of
gravity and smooth operation. |
 |
| |
|
SUSPENSION SEAT
The U15’s deluxe high back
seat increases productivity by providing optimum
comfort for operators of all sizes. Retractable seat belts increase ease of use. |
 |
| |
|
TWO-PATTERN
SELECTION
With a quick flip of a lever, it's easy to change the operating pattern. That's great for
improved productivity and safety. |
 |
| |
|
WRIST REST
Adjustable wrist rests help reduce arm movement and increase operator comfort for
greater work efficiency. |
 |
| |
|
ROPS / FOPS CANOPY
The OSHA certified ROPS/FOPS canopy provides complete protection from
accidental rollovers and falling objects, ensuring an extra level of safety and security
on the job. |
 |
| |
|
SAFE, CONTROLLED STARTS
When the safety control lever is moved upward, the console moves with it, providing
more room for entry and exit. To prevent unexpected machine movement during
entry or exit, the pilot and travel controls are then disabled. This is the only time that
the engine will crank over. |
 |
| |
|
SWIVEL NEGATIVE BRAKE
Whenever the engine is stopped or the safety control lever is raised, the swivel
negative brake automatically locks the house in its current position, thus eliminating
the need for a swivel transport lock pin. |
 |
| |
|
TOOL BOX
Need a place to store tools or a grease gun? The tool box can hold those items and
more. Located behind the seat, access to these items is quick and easy. |
 |
| |
|
VARIABLE TRACK WIDTH
Perfect for plumbers, water proofers, pool companies and others negotiating narrow
spaces or passing through narrow openings, the U15 provides access to job sites
where larger machines can’t fit. |
 |
| |
|
ZERO TAIL SWING
Zero tail
swing means you’ll never again worry about what is to the side or behind
you while you work. No matter how far you turn, the tail always remains within the
width of the tracks. Zero tail
swing also ensures excellent balance, stability and
faster operation, making the U15 ideal for jobs in congested urban areas. |
