3 PUMP LOAD SENSING HYDRAULIC SYSTEM

Kubota’s load-sensing hydraulic system guarantees smoother handling, regardless of load size. It allows hydraulic oil to flow according to your precise needs. The KX0803’ s new 3-pump load-sensing system also allows you to perform simultaneous operations, such as dozing and utilizing front attachments, without losing speed.

ACCUMULATOR

Replacing attachments is now safer and more efficient, thanks to the accumulator. Turning the key to the “on” position clears residual pressure in the auxiliary hydraulic port, preventing oil from spurting out when attachments are removed. Should the engine accidentally shut off while the front attachment is raised, simply turn the key to the “on” position. The attachment can now be safely lowered.

SAFE, CONROLLED STARTS

When the safety control lever is moved upward, the console moves with it, providing more room for entry and exit. To prevent unexpected machine movement during entry or exit, the pilot and travel controls are then disabled. This is the only time that the engine will crank over.

ANTI-THEFT SYSTEM

The industry's first factory installed anti-theft system allows only registered keys to crank the engine. Use of any other key prevents the engine start. Repeated use of an incorrect key immobilizes the KX080-3 and sounds an alarm. Replace the universal key system, stop thieves in their tracks, and eliminate the cost of theft and recovery. Moreover, there's no need to worry about lost or stolen keys. It's easy to program keys in and out of the registry.

AUTO IDLE SYSTEM

Save fuel! Reduce engine RPM instinctively when high engine speed isn’t needed. When the control levers are in neutral for more than 4 seconds, the engine RPM automatically idles. Move any control lever and the engine RPM immediately returns. This innovative feature reduces noise and exhaust emissions while reducing operating costs.

BOOM ANTI-DROP VALVE

Standard equipment on the KX080-3, the anti drop valve prevents an elevated load from dropping unexpectedly.

DIGITAL PANEL

Kubota’s Intelligent Control System can help reduce downtime and repair fees by providing timely diagnostic readings and routine maintenance alerts. The large digital panel displays current working conditions, warning indicators, engine rpm and hour meter, fuel, temperature and oil levels. The KICS panel is an integral part of the Anti Theft System.

CUP HOLDER

Digging can be thirsty work, and with the convenient cup holder, you can work and still quench your thirst without leaving the cabin.

CONTROLLED CLIMATE CAB

No matter what the weather outside, the KX080 climate-controlled cab will keep you feeling fresh and comfortable, letting you work faster, better, and longer. If desired, filtered outside air can be introduced via the external air vent.

ADJUSTABLE MAXIMUM OIL FLOW CONTROL FOR AUXILIARY PORT

This unique function lets you control the oil flow according to your needs or the attachment in use. The one-touch oil flow control eliminates any hassle using tools to change settings manually, you don’t have to leave the cabin. When using a tilt bucket, you can slow the flow to get just the right control to shape gently that swale. Alternatively, for a brush cutter direct the oil flow to one side of the excavator arm. The system will even store your settings for the next time you need it, saving time and quickly regulating the flow requirements. High-performance standard features that include a thumb bracket and relief valve, and auxiliary circuit 1 & 2 service ports. Adjustable oil flow enhances performance, and economically saves fuel.

EASY MAINTENANCE

All three of the excavator’s access panels can open at once. This allows you to easily inspect and view the centrally located components of the KX080-3. You can easily access the hydraulic components under the center hood, or the battery, oil filter and tool box under the right hood. Maintaining your excavator has never been this easy.

EASY-OPEN FRONT WINDOW

Unlike many excavator windows, the front glass window of the KX080-3 opens with ease. Just flip the latch on the side of the window and slide it up. A gas assist mechanism makes this action almost effortless.

ELECTRIC FUEL REFILLING PUMP

The KX080-3’s new, standard refueling pump includes a hose long enough to refuel from a fuel tank. With this pump, the tank can be completely filled in approximately three minutes with just a simple push of a button. Upon completion, an auto-stop feature ends fueling to eliminate spillage.

THUMB BRACKET

The optional hydraulic thumb allows you to handle a variety of loading and digging jobs without stopping to change implements. It works with the bucket to pinch materials for loading and carrying. When no longer needed, it retracts to permit normal excavation. The factory-installed thumb bracket and auxiliary hydraulics significantly reduce the time needed to mount the hydraulic thumb.

TIGHT TAIL SWING

The KX080-3 is designed with a shorter rear overhang. Thanks to this contoured, tight tail design, low center of gravity and smooth hydraulics, the KX080-3 is more stable, can handle a wide range of loads, and can work in more restrictive spaces than traditional tail swing excavators.

TWO-PIECE DOZER CYLINDER HOSES

Kubota’s innovative two-piece hose design for the dozer blade reduces hose replacement time by nearly 60% compared to non-joint types. This design virtually eliminates the need to enter the machine for maintenance.

USER FRIENDLY OPERATION

Operating levers require less effort and shorter movements, ensuring improved control and operator comfort. Auxiliary hydraulics controls are mounted on the right operating lever for simple operation of attachments. A 2-speed travel switch on the dozer lever permits quicker, more convenient travel speed changes. Adjustable wrist rests help reduce operator fatigue for increased job efficiency.

WINDOW GUARDS

Operators need protection from flying chips and debris when using some attachments. On some sites anti vandalism is important. Kubota provides the window guard mounting points around the front window as a standard feature.

SECOND AUXILIARY HYDRAULIC CIRCUIT

Auxiliary circuit 2 makes it possible to mount such attachments as the hydraulic breaker without having to disconnect attachments fitted to auxiliary circuit 1. The second auxiliary hydraulics circuit enables use of attachments requiring two hydraulic circuits, like a rotary clam shell bucket.

LOW SOUND LEVEL
