72C Rigid Cutterbar Auger Header

The 72C rigid cutterbar auger header is available in 20-, 25- and 30-foot widths. The smallest model is equipped with a single-knife drive, while the two larger models feature twin-knife drives.

74C Flexible Cutterbar Auger Header

The 74C flexible cutterbar auger header is available in four cutting widths, and each of the larger two models is equipped with a twin-knife drive. The 74C gives you a choice of 1 1/2-inch knives and guards (twin cut) or 3-inch knives and guards. It also provides up to 4 1/2 inches of float and closely follows the ground contour to pick up low-growing crops. The 74C floor flexibility has been enhanced even more with a new cutterbar design that floats independently of the header floor for better feeding and flexibility. And, with the 74C, the New Holland Terrain Tracer™ header flotation system is standard equipment.

Both the 72C and 74C include these features:

• Large 26-inch diameter, full-finger auger allows smooth, even feeding of crop to the feeder. (The 35-foot auger on the 74C features a straight finger pattern in the center section.)
• Choice of reels and crop dividers lets you adapt these headers to a wide variety of crop conditions.
• Hydraulic fore and aft reel adjustment provides precise feeding in all crop conditions.
• A narrower-profile, left-handed, single drive system is provided on the 20- and 25-foot models.
• A new self-adjusting knife drive belt allows for enhanced belt wrap.
• Additional feeder opening supports provide added strength and durability.
• An enhanced crop divider provides better performance in adverse crop conditions.
• Auto header height control arm has adjustable ends to make fine adjustments of the sensor range easy.

Terrain Tracer™ header flotation system
Terrain Tracer takes the bounce out of rough spots and helps you get all of the grain. It automatically tilts the header laterally to follow the ground contour and raises the head vertically. If the combine dips into a gully one wheel at a time or stumbles across a deep tire track, the header remains on the ground to get all the grain. Terrain Tracer is offered for all New Holland headers.
